For those of you that missed Dr Chris’s Health Slot which featured our Remote Temperature Monitor (see below) we thought it would be helpful if we ran through his discussion on dealing with your child when they develop a temperature.
With summer fast approaching it is only normal to begin to worry about your child’s temperature. Summer sunshine is great in moderation but being too hot can cause adverse reactions like dehydration. ITV’s resident GP Doctor Chris gave some great and oh so simple advice on his ‘This Morning’ slot which featured our very own bosieboo Remote Temperature Monitor. He ran through his 5 C’s for soothing your child’s temperature.

Calpol – the TLC options of above are great and will comfort the child but if they are verging on a fever then medicine (as well as medical advice) needs to be sought.
Dr Chris explained how a lot of mum’s close windows and put on extra bedding thinking they are doing the correct thing when in reality it is only making their child more uncomfortable.
These are obviously just guidelines which can be adapted to suit your little one individually but it is something to be aware of to keep them happy this summer, along with knowing their favourite ice cream flavour…
